I have all of my sessions, collections and pricing updated so be sure to check it out :) If you haven't "liked" my Facebook page please go there now and do so. You'll get 50% off your first session fee!!

I can't wait to get the show on the road. I already have a few sessions lined up for the summer. I just need some spring sessions now!! Thanks for reading.

New Services!!

I, along with Nicole Reed, have come up with a new way for me to better suit my talents. Photography is one of my biggest passions and I loved working on the cover for Ruining You, but let's face it...I suck at graphic design. Never have liked it. I think I was so excited about my photo being the cover of a book that I got carried away with thinking that I could design something good enough to be a cover. Boy was I wrong! I just don't have the talent that comes with being a graphic designer.

Because of that, I have decided to leave the designing to the real graphic designers and just shoot the photos. I will now only be selling my photos to authors as a stockphoto in which they will then have edited by a graphic designer or someone who specializes in cover design. I have 3 female models and 1 male as of now.

I am also available for personal photography sessions as well. I will need a 2 weeks notice for availability and time.

Please remember to check out my Facebook page here.

First Cover Reveal Continued

For a girl who dared to tempt death, living is the only promise that matters now.
Jay’s life almost came to a forced end when her deepest, darkest secrets were revealed and the one who she decided to give her future to was ripped away. Now everyone knows what happened in her horrific past, but not everyone is glad she survived. Someone wants her to complete the path that she chose from the beginning, while another is determined she choose a different one.
In the conclusion to Ruining Me, Kane and Rhye know that Jay is worth the fight, but waiting for her to find herself may ruin them all.

Well, the day has come for me to reveal my first ever book cover!! I was so super excited to get all the feedback from viewers of Nicole Reed and Tough Critic Book Reviews' blogs. Everyone seemed to love it. The book is set to release on January 29, 2013. I just wanted to give everyone access to the teaser:

Teaser #1

Standing on the grassy banks of the lake, the sun’s reflection turns the color of the water to gold, shining for miles. The breeze gently picks my hair up, covering my face with its tendrils. Suddenly, strong arms go around my waist, pulling me back against a solid male body. Chills run down my spine as his mouth nuzzles my neck.

“Why do you taste so damn good?” His voice whispers into my ear.

My heart halts, its rhythm non-existent, as I wait for the pain this dream will ultimately inflict upon me.

“Baby, we don’t have long together. Turn around and kiss me like you mean it.”

Photos, photos, photos...

It has been such a great weekend. Worked on a lot of pictures for my portfolio today. I recruited one of my beautiful sisters to be my model and she was fantastic!! I have to say, this photography thing isn't as easy as it looks. I have been researching on Pinterest for ideas and help. I definitely used some of the research today when I was shooting my sister (Jess, I'm so glad you're willing to be my rag doll).

I posted the new pics on my Facebook page and would love for y'all to check them out. Please comment if you like, or don't like, them. I love the constructive criticism and use every bit of it that I receive.

Toodles,

Christan

Awesome week...bad day!

So this week has been amazing seeing all the wonderful comments people are making about the cover for Ruining You. I can't wait to release it to my blog.

On another note, today was terrible. Had to leave work early due to the stomach bug but hopefully it will vacate the premises by the morning. I will hopefully be shooting some more photos this weekend of some different models and different atmospheres. Can't wait for that. I'm trying to build up my portfolio so I can launch my business with some success. The more pictures to show, the better :)

As for the rest of the week, though, I will be working and editing more Ruining You photos.

Goodnight,

Christan

Slight Work...

Today has been pretty crazy! I started researching the photography stuff for my new business. It's gonna be tough, but I know I'll get through it. I was super curious about how much to charge for private photography sessions but I think I've came up with a price that is not only affordable but reasonable. I think it's quite stupid to charge  someone $80 for an 8x10 when I can print it at CVS or Walgreens for $3.

Here are my prices for book covers and photography sessions:

eBook cover--$50 + $10 ea. additional photo

Copyright will be signed over to the author upon start of contract. It is at the author's expense to have the photo copyrighted. There will be an additional copyright fee of $30 if the author wants me to handle that part as well.

Photography sessions--$50 sitting fee + $10 handling fee.

I will be adding a list of packages to choose from at a later date. As of now, there is no additional charge for travel, but if I'm asked to travel long distances there will be a fee tacked on to the final price for travel expenses. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Thank you,

Christan
